  1. I have just finished Barely Proper on Kindle and have read two others of the “Proper” series. And I bought the first one because it was 99 cents. Love the plots and the characters and the bits of humor … in short, I will read more of your writings.

I am not an English major by any stretch but the copy on Amazon is rife with errors. On one page I stumbled on 5. Things like a word before a verb and another word though slightly different meaning the same with a different tense. Words that would pass a spell check but not right for the sentence. I offered to highlight the ones I found for Amazon but they have no means of catching them.

I called amazon about it but they had no way to do what I suggested. is there any way I can tell you of the errors that I find if I read more of your books. I feel sure you wouldn’t like to have the books there as published on Kindle. I did not mark the ones in any of the ones I have read, but BProper was the worst one … I bet there were over 50 and maybe more.

As I said, not an English major but for some reason these things jump out at me!

Thanks, and again, I love your story lines, characters and humor!

    • For some reason the version of Barely Proper that was uploaded formerly was the one without edits — and I really don’t know how that happened. I’ve uploaded a new version that should be cleaner, so this should appear soon. Thanks for catching this!

  2. I just read A Dangerous Compromise and am now getting Maeve’s and St. Albans books to read, but what about Jane Preston?

  3. Just finished reading the Compromised series, Proper series and Lady Scandal and they have been terrific! About to start Under the Kissing Bough. Will your other books and anthologies be available in ebook format?

  4. Hi there Shannon, I recently caved in to nostalgia and replayed a game from my childhood – Nomad. It was as enjoyable now as it was then, even if I couldn’t visit the Phelonese pleasure world.
This is a long shot, but do you still have any of your material related to the game? And if so, would you be willing to post it? I’d love to read it.
